I will have to admit that I was confused on what what going on most of the time... But Your drawing (other than the stick figures) was really good! Your great at drawing objects and such. It would nice to see a cleaned up version, but its still good as it is.

Yes, it is rather confusing at first, but stories usually are when they start. As for a clean version, I can't say, I have tried to clean it myself, but I'm no good with that sort of stuff, I'm just the scribble sort of guy =p.

But, if anyone would like to help clean it up, that would be fantastic.

Makes me happy seeing people enjoy my story :laugh:

As for poor Stan, never seems to get his relaxation time in :sad: . I often think I abuse my characters too much >>;

On the contrary, confusing beginnings are frowned upon. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to read a book that doesn't make sense. I usually put the book down in less than a chapter. When it's conveyed to artwork, the same thing usually goes. The only difference is that if I'm interested in getting a graphic novel at the book store, I have time to look through it or even read it to see if it gets any better.

The most important thing is to clarify to your readers what is going on, to establish your story's world, the characters, etc.

While I agree about clarity, I attempt to make an effort-in my stories, at least-to clarify things over time. I mean, to clarify everything at once seems a little ridiculous to me. Then one would simply lose interest since they already know whats going and probably predict what would happen. I suppose what I mean to say, is that I try to make my stories engaging enough the whole way through.

Of course, I'm merely rambling now. Everyone has their take on stories and I respect that.
